Maybelline Master Drama by Eyestudio Eyeliner in Midnight Master (Black)

I stumbled upon this eyeliner quite by accident. I was at my drugstore, looking for a quick lunch to bring to work, and noticed this liner on sale. ( I always have to take a run through the cosmetics department no matter how rushed I am. I can't help it, I'm addicted.) This liner retailed for about $10, but I got mine on sale for $6.99. Yay for sales!

This liner is one of those automatic pencils that you don't have to sharpen. You just twist up the product as you use it. You can use it in your waterline like a Khol liner, or on the outer part of your eyes as well. It is very soft and smooth, this liner doesn't pull at your eyes at all.

The one thing I will caution is that if you don't like dramatic eye make-up, this liner isn't for you. It is absolutely not for the wall-flowers! You will stand out in this eye liner.

* * * * *  Cost: 4 out of 5 stars. The price was reasonable, and I didn't waste my money.
* * * * *  Wear: 5 out of 5 stars. I'm not sure if it would last a full 24 hours, but it definitely lasted over 10.
* * * * *  Ease of use: 4 out of 5 stars. The only reason is because the tip doesn't stay pointy on an automatic pencil. But that still doesn't take away from the overall awesomeness of this liner.

Clarins Paris Fix' Make-Up Spray Mist

This is one of my absolute favorite products in my make-up bag right now. Clarins Fix' Make-Up ($30 Canadian for 30 ml / 1 fl oz.) is like a hairspray for your face!

Once you're done applying your make-up for the day, you can hold this spray about 8-10 cm from your face and give yourself a few good spritzes. Once it dries, it will set your make-up in place and keep you looking fresh all day. You can also use this spray throughout the day to rejuvinate your make-up and keep your skin looking flawless. It smells AMAZING and really revitalizes you when you need a lift during the day. It smells fresh and reminds me of spring.

This product is great for the hot humid days of summer, when you feel like your make-up is going to melt off of your face. It's also great for proms and weddings, so that you will need to do less powder touch ups.

Clarins products are all plant based, and this spray contains Clarins' patented EP3 complex, which protects your skin from free radicals, one of the leading causes of aging.

Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara - Very Black

I'm always buying new mascaras; I have at least 5 constantly on the go. I really love the volumizing mascaras that promise the "false lash" effect. So when I was on Facebook the other night, and an ad came to my computer about the newest Maybelline mascara, I had to give it a try.

Maybelline's Mega Plush mascara comes in a  bright blue (almost turquoise) tube with pinkish purple writing on it. It retails for about $8-$10 bucks (Canadian $). The store where I bought mine had a sale on it because it's a new product, so I scored mine for $4.99. yay! This mascara promises to make your lashes look voluminous without the clumpy, stiff look or feel. It's part of Maybelline's Volume Express line of mascara. It comes in waterproof and non-waterproof formulas. I bought the non-waterproof formula.

I have used the Volume Express line from Maybelline before, and it's pretty good. Not the best, but definitely not the worst. A good buy for a drug store brand. I was pretty excited to try this new mascara, cause I was curious to see how "plush" my lashes would feel.

I used it for the first time this morning, while getting ready for work. The brush is unique; it has a bendable wand, so that it can move more easily I guess depending which way you hold it with your hand. The spooly is made of rubber like fibers, that are supposed to catch every lash.

I'm the type of person who puts mascara on in multiple coats, so I really need a mascara that doesn't clump up. I put it on by wiggling it through my lashes repeatedly, until I feel like they look "volumized" enough. I wiggled the mascara through my lashes about 5 times on each eye, and did the bottom lashes once on each eye. The mascara didn't clump, and I didn't have to put it back into the tube to get more product on the wand. My lashes looked pretty volumized, and even now, 10 hours later, they feel soft and not stiff. I am fairly impressed with this mascara. It was a really great buy at $4.99, even at the $10 bucks it would be worth it. I have bought some mascaras that were much more expensive ($30) and they did not work this well. I am not sure how long the tube will last without drying out or clumping up, but I will try to keep track. Mascara should be thrown out every 3 months, however, as a general rule of thumb. I have been guilty of keeping mine for 6 months or more.
